July 2011 - Battery Separator Recall

Surepower has implemented a product safety recall on battery separators sold from August 2009 to June 2011.

The defective separator models are:

1314 (S/N 09004545-10008041

1315 (S/N 09002323 – 10003168

There is a risk of the unit circuit boards failing which may lead to overheating and is a serious fire hazard.

The affected vehicles will most likely be light commercial or commercial vehicles with dual batteries.

Examples vehicles are Toyota Landcruiser, Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara or Mitsubishi Triton.
